About Raine's Gems & the Founder

Our brand story

On 8 August 2020, Lorraine Tan launched her very own jewellery business, Raine's Gems, at just age 14. Many months prior, she had singlehandidly been making preparations and jewellery for her business. Lorraine is a Singaporean with a young, determined, entrepreneurial mind. She hopes to make a good income for herself to set her future in the right path, connect with people and build a reputation by being known for what she does. She is very passionate about this business and has consistently been highly prioritising it every day since the very start.

Before founding Raine's Gems, whenever Lorraine went jewellery shopping, she found herself going from store-to-store in order to purchase different jewellery which she found troublesome. By setting up Raine's Gems, she aims to kill two birds with one stone by including a wide-variety of jewellery and jewellery which caters to all ages.

Whenever Lorraine wears jewellery, she always instantly feels so much more confident. Therefore, she hopes that with the jewellery she handmakes with love, others can feel much more confident as well. Hence, Raine's Gems tagline: Wear with confidence.
